This Privacy Policy applies solely to CE Ledger, a private internal financial dashboard used by a single business entity. CE Ledger is not a public service and is not available to the general public. This application is intended for internal business use and is not offered to the general public.

This policy describes how CE Ledger collects, uses, and protects financial account data accessed through the application.

This Privacy Policy is provided to comply with Plaid's End User Privacy Policy requirements.

2. Information Collection

CE Ledger accesses financial account data through Plaid Inc., a third-party service provider. The types of data accessed may include:

Account balances (current and available)
Transaction history (date, amount, merchant, category)
Account identifiers (account name, type, last four digits)
Institution name

CE Ledger does not collect, store, or process sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary to display financial information for internal reporting purposes.

CE Ledger does not collect, store, or process bank login credentials, authentication secrets, or security answers.

3. Use of Plaid

Bank account connections are facilitated through Plaid Inc. When you connect a financial account, you explicitly authorize Plaid to access your account data on behalf of CE Ledger.

Plaid's privacy policy governs how Plaid collects, uses, and transmits your financial data. You can review Plaid's privacy policy at https://plaid.com/legal.

Each bank account connection requires your explicit authorization. You control which accounts are connected and can revoke access at any time.

4. How Data Is Used

Financial data accessed through CE Ledger is used solely for:

Internal financial reporting and reconciliation
Account balance tracking
Viewing transaction history for internal business purposes

CE Ledger does not perform automated decision-making, profiling, or eligibility determinations of any kind. Financial data is displayed in read-only format for informational and internal business purposes only.

CE Ledger does not use financial data for identity verification, credit evaluation, profiling, behavioral analysis, or eligibility determinations.

5. Data Sharing

CE Ledger does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your financial data with third parties.

Your data is not used for marketing purposes.

Your data is not resold or provided to data brokers.

Data may only be disclosed if required by law or legal process.

6. Data Security

CE Ledger employs reasonable security measures to protect your data:

All data is transmitted via encrypted connections using TLS 1.2 or higher
Financial data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption mechanisms
Access to production systems and financial data is protected by role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Access to CE Ledger is restricted to authorized users only
Bank credentials are never stored by CE Ledger; bank authentication and data access are handled by Plaid via Plaid Link

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Financial data is retained only while accounts remain connected to CE Ledger and is deleted within 30 days after account access is revoked, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove your data from our systems within 30 days of receiving a verified deletion request, unless retention is required by law.

You may also revoke CE Ledger's access to your financial accounts through the Plaid portal at https://my.plaid.com.

8. Compliance

CE Ledger operates in compliance with:

Plaid's Master Services Agreement
Plaid's Schedule 1 (End User Services Agreement) requirements
Applicable data protection regulations

9. End-User Rights

You have the right to:

Request access to the financial data associated with your account
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Revoke consent at any time through Plaid or by contacting us
Object to or restrict processing of their financial data, where applicable
